Are these legal? Hi there. I'm thinking of doing a couple of customizations to my Wii, but I want to check they're legal first. I want to have custom channels for certain apps, using WADder and a legal benzin base WAD. Is that legal, and how do I install the created WAD? Will WADImport do the job? Also, can I legally create a "forwarder channel"? The other thing is themes. Using MyMenuify, is it legal to install themes? BTW, my Wii is on 3.3E v2 and has HBC and DVDx installed. Do I need to update to 4.0 for these things or anything? Also, I have permission from comex and waninkoko to include their NAND loaders in WADder, so those are legal as well.

EDIT: I guess in theory, I could recompile it for PPC, but the computer that I like using (my iMac G4) has a dead monitor, the backlight blew out. You are completely right -- however, marcan is a Wiibrew administrator, and him banning me (which he has done many times) does in fact make it difficult for me to continue, such as getting help in #wiidev and other channels.

Actually, WADder versions 2.0+ contain no banner code in them, they just edit existing banners (legal or not). There was one file, a .trailer file, that I did not know the use of -- that was becauseit has no use, and it was an accidental copy of a hacked nintendo banner that I did not know what it was. Marcan could have told me about it and it had nothing to do with WADder itself, it was not needed to run it and could be safely deleted with no side effects.

b) WADder has been legal since march, except for one pointless file that if marcan had pointed out in a nicer fashion I could easily have removed.
c) WADder 3.0, which is now released, is completely legal.
