It deletes IOS35 and then downloads and installs an older version of it from Nintendo&#039;s servers.<br /><br />For some reason, IOS35 is the only IOS you can safely do this with without bricking your Wii. (Other IOSs have to be written over with versions with higher version numbers)<br /><br />As to why they haven&#039;t patched it yet, your guess is as good as mine. (Let&#039;s not forget it took them almost 6 months to add a dummy IOS 16)]]></description>

There is no "exploit". Just a simple install using a different IOS than the one used by the (now outdated) HBC installer.<br /><br />CMDVDX lets you downgrade IOS35 so that the NOTDVDX install method will work if necessary.<br /><br />The Twiizers exploit is really very simple. It can use any IOS to install fakesigned content. I know exactly how it works but I&#039;m not at liberty to talk about it as any pirate coder could create an app that uses this new install method. Nintendo should not ever be able to be patch it unless they completely rewrite how IOS works.]]></description>

The hackmii installer is not an exploit. I would say Twiizers has an exploit that could work if they dig into it further, and comex&#039;s isn&#039;t an exploit that can write to the nand or fakesign, just run code (probably the exploit used in the Super Stack Smash Bros. video). My reasoning for this? Twiizers still installs the HBC somehow (on a similar note, if we were to disassemble the Hackmii installer, couldn&#039;t we figure out what the exploit is?)<br /><br />EDIT: I noticed a flaw in what I said about comex&#039;s exploit. I meant that it could not be used to alter the NAND in such a way that would require fakesigning or something of the sort]]></description>

But anyway, that stuff would be pretty cool, but I don&#039;t really see why there needs to be a channel for themes. Why not just a HBC app? It&#039;s not like it needs quick access or anything. Personally I&#039;d like to see Almeda (HBC Banner Tools) released, and an easy custom channel creation tool, that&#039;s legal, by Team Twiizers.]]></description>
