the default is looking for:

fceugx/roms

so you could have:

IP:
Share: Software
User:
Password:

and then your files would be stored at: \\server\Software\fceugx\roms

otherwise, you need to change the load folder from fceugx/roms to NES/roms

Just need some clarification on setup. My files are stored on a windows home server under the path (\\server\Software\NES\roms). I've done the following setup steps on FCE Ultra 3.0.4:

SMB IP : server IP
SMB Share: Server Name
SMB Username: yadda
SMB Password: yadda

Load directory: Software/NES/roms

I keep getting a connection error when the software trys to connect. I've tried a few ways of setting this up including adding the server name to the Load path, and moving the files to shorten the Load directory listing with no go.

I've used another computer and verified that the files can be accessed with the provided username and password over a SMB link. I'm certain the problem is that I'm not setting up the above properly.

What is the proper setup for this situation?
