Been doing some work on this myself. Successfully got the choosing of what IOS to work. I do have ES_Identify in IOS36, and am now making it past that error, but instead am crashing on ISFS_GetFileStats Error.

I have an idea for fixing my version, but if it needs ES_Identify, there probably isnt much point having so many IOS. I may take a few out, and just leave IOS36 and some cIOS. But I probably wont have time tonight, I got a load of geography coursework to do for tomorrow. And about your error: Do you have ES_Identify in IOS36? (I know its kinda obvious, but I felt I should check).

Modified it to use IOs36, as it calls ES_identify. However now Im getting a Get FileStats error return code -101

Hmm, guess this gives me a reason to start trying some Wii homebrew myself.

Aww. Well, I'm sure it wouldnt be hard for someone who can actually code (I cant really code, I was trying to work it out comparing source of dop-IOS and dop-IOS MOD).

All I get when trying to run modified version is a black screen. Not even to the IOS selection screen.

I believe that the devs behind this version of StartPatch (not the original dev btw) believe EVERYONE who "mods" their Wii has cIOS. Which is obviously not true. However, I believe that this version is open source, so it shouldn't be too hard to change the IOS used. I'll take a look at it in a minute.

EDIT: I've modified the source to include the IOS selection code from the dop-IOS MODv6 (and some other code from it, which isnt necessary, but I oculdnt work out what was and wasnt necessary) However, I'm now getting the below error. Anyone know why?

I did not edit that line (which is the last line btw), and I dont know whats wrong. I may try and implement a more basic IOS selection code for know instead.

EDIT: OK, here's a modified version for you to test. Only test if you have brick protection, as I have no idea if this will make it unstable, or not work or something. All regions are included. [www.mediafire.com]

Nah, Dop-IOS Mod only installs real IOS not cIOS. Only way I've seen to install IOS250 is using some of wani's stuff

Just downloaded the latest version of startpatch, which refuses to start if you don't have IOS250 installed. Curious as to why this is, when previous versions didn't require it? Often hear bad things about installing cIOS, so want to know what need StartPatch has for them.
