Question about "Twilight Princess that has been played at least once" Hi! What does that exactly mean? Are we supposed to fully finish the game before trying Twilight hack? Doesn't twilight hack work by itself as the only gamesave in the system? I don't know why some people will get this error message on a virgin Wii, and some won't. The issue is most likely that the data directory does not exist in NAND for that game, nor has the game's title ID been added to uid.sys. Therefore, the system menu can't properly assign ownership of the savefile.

It might even be sufficient to put the Zelda disc in once, let the Wii read the banner in, and then eject it. Read up on system firmwares. 3.2 is latest firmware before Nintendo started trying to black homebrew.
