Hey guys, so I bought a new game and it says an update is required, so I turned it off because it said homebrew would be detected and erased. I saw at the main page of this site it said all i have to do is update hackmii to the latest version, and then i can install nintendo's official update. Is that all? I'm just confirming this because I don't want my homebrew to erase, or my wii to get bricked. HackMii 0.8 is more recent than latest official update, so updating will not remove it :)

For anyone else in this same situation, I ran hackmii v0.8 and clicked "install Homebrew Channel" and that's all. Then i updated and everything worked fine.
