About to take the plunge, some advice please

Hi all,

Have been reading up loads on the Homebrew / Twilight topics and am about to try it out on my Wii which I purchased for xmas (2 minutes time !!).

I am not interested in downloading games or anything like that but just making copies of disks that I own as my son has scratched about 10 of my cd/DVD/game disks in the past and I don't want to fork out for 2 copies of a game that I already own.

My console is on 3.1 but I wish to know:

1. Should I upgrade to 3.4 as there is a twilight version available for that ?
2. Should I install Starfall ?
3. Do I need to, or should I run WiiBrickBlocker when I backup an original of mine

Any advice apprciated and apologies if this information could be found y searching but I have gone loopy from mis-reading so many posts.

Thanks and Merry Chistmas to all

TK

PS - I was advised to rub Brasso on a scratched disk to help it recover.... bad idea full stop !
next stop a DVD cleaning / repair kit .. fingers crossed.
