Custom theme isn't the problem. Do you have cIOS installed? If so, it appears to be crap. That's the reason Priiloader fails to uninstall. You need an IOS with ES_DiVerify in it to (un)install Priiloader. And I can't tell you how to get that.

EDIT: A quick glance at your log reveals the problem: IOS249 (i.e. the cIOS IOS slot) is not patched at all, meaning its a stub, and therefore completely useless. You will need to use one of your other patched IOS (e.g. IOS202 or IOS236) to install an IOS with fake signing and ES_DiVerify to IOS249. I won't give any more details than this. If you have patched IOS already, as you do, you should know how to patch IOS.

No, Priiloader is removed using its own installer/uninstaller. Any Title Deleter cannot remove Priiloader.

Its no more unsafe to remove Priiloader than it was to install it in the first place, and that's pretty safe.

Updating has a very low chance of bricking your Wii provided the power doesn't go out during the process.

While in the Homebrew Channel, press the home button on the Wiimote. I believe the IOS is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen.

Sometimes you have to completely uninstall Priiloader to reenable updating.

i tried updating...
it says it cant update, then i disabled the block online updates from priiloader and tried updating again
it still gave me an error...

and how do i check which ios hbc is running?

Priiloader gets remove if you update or install your System Menu only.

Updating should not affect Dop-Mii, we need to know what IOS the Homebrew Channel is running on to help you with that.

And again, USB loaders are not supported or condoned here.

I do not believe updating will remove priiloader.

I cannot and will not help you with the USB Loader, but if you still want to clean your Wii, here is what I would do:

-Remove IOS 236
-Remove IOS 202
-Use Any Title Deleter DB [wiibrew.org] to remove IOS 0 and anything you have installed that's not "official" (Except the Homebrew Channel, of course).

I've used Any Title Deleter DB, deleted stuff that had no names, had question marks, or had a name but didn't want to keep (because it's not "official"). I recommend you get the database that it talks about in the description.

I don't know if I should recommend deleting titles with no names or with "????" because I don't know if there is something important that is like that. However, I did and had no problems, removed IOS 0 and un-official channels I had installed).
(I did this on my really old Wii which has bootmii as boot2, that's why I even tried it. I would not have tried it on my new Wii though).

If you have priiloader you can keep that too, but I don't know if something could go wrong while updating through Nintendo and having priiloader installed (I don't think it deletes every trace either).

What IOS is Homebrew Channel running under? That could be related to the problem dop-mii is having.

He can't install bootmii/ boot2, he said he got a black Wii with 4.3 pre-installed.

Meaning it's new, and has the fixed boot1.

Good. You now have the latest Homebrew Channel and BootMii IOS (the latest HackMii Installer automatically installs BootMii as an IOS upon startup because it depends on it to run.) If the installer said "BootMii Can be Installed), then click on that to go to the BootMii menu to install BootMii as boot2. You will then have two copies of BootMii on your Wii, this is normal and desired. If it says (Only as IOS), then you cannot install BootMii as boot2.

and yes..im probably running on a patched ios, because i downgraded from my original 4.3, to 4.1U

i already have bootmii installed as ios...
so should i install bootmii again? even if it says i should install as ios?

i installed homebrew again with the latest bootmii
but not bootmii/ios, must i install that too? (with the latest bootmii)

so now i have the latest hbc...
what can i do now?/ or what am i supposed to do now...

that youtube guide fked me up pretty bad >.<

I"d hold off on updating for now, as a whole bunch of IOSes are patched on your Wii. The important patched ones are 80, 70, 60, 50, 30, and 36. IOSes 202, 236, 250, 249, 223, 222, and 16 are also patched, but they have never been used to run official software (with one irreverent exception) so that is not important right now.

I recommend that you first remove IOSes 70 and 80 with Dop-Mii. Then, make sure you are running the latest version of the Homebrew Channel. The log file you posted is from an old version of the HackMii Installer. Make sure you download the latest one from bootmii.org. Replace the HackMii Installer on your SD card with the one from bootmii.org. Then run it and install the Homebrew Channel and BootMii as boot2 if it allows that.

I'm not sure if updating through Nintendo is safe at this point because your system menu (which I'm thinking is itself patched) is running on a patched IOS.

I'd like to know if you can install BootMii as boot2 before I give you further advice.

That is unbelievably simple. Go the the settings and select update. System modifications do not make this dangerous. Though, if you still don't believe this, you don't have to update at all.
