Using DOP-Mii to update Wii Shop channel I'm planning on updating my Wii Shop channel through DOP-Mii as it seems to be a fairly optimal method through what I've gathered. However, I don't fully understand the process (such as which IOS(s) I need to use/upgrade) and I don't want to make any mistakes. If someone could walk me through it, it would greatly appreciated. I will try to provide any necessary information. Yes, Waxy is correct, the easiest thing to do is an official update.

No it is not dangerous to do an official update (so long as you don't pull the power cord out while updating).

Yes your homebrew will still work (you won't even have to reinstall so long as you have the latest HBC).
