It basically allows you to backup your NAND so that if anything were to go wrong with your wii (brick it) you can restore the NAND. However, you can only restore a bricked wii if bootmii was installed on boot2 (which would have been an option when you ran the hackmii installer)<br /><br />If it can&#039;t be installed as boot2, then it still may serve a few small uses, but isn&#039;t as nearly as effective as IOS... and restoring NAND without bootmii as boot2 is not just a simple software thing.]]></description>
