DOP-Mii and Gecko not working together

I'm trying to get Gecko to play channels. I read that I need IOS36 v1042. When I go to install it, it says "Note: FakeSign, ES_Identify, Nand Permissions Already Exists.". I try to re-install it, it does, but I still can't load channels in Gecko.

After 265 posts you don't know that any LU64+ can not have IOSes downgraded???

Man, you are screwing it up really bad! I am sorry to tell you but you will never get to run Channels through Gecko without having a patched IOS installed. You should immediately restore back the latest version of IOS36 before your Wii bricks or anything.

jbc007:

The message "Note: FakeSign, ES_Identify, Nand Permissions Already Exists." appears when trying to install an IOS revision which contains the trucha bug from factory, hence it does not need to be patched. That is why he is getting that message when trying to install first rev of IOS36.

Try downgrading it again. Be sure you are using the latest revision of DOP-Mii, that you launch it through the latest revision of the HBC, and that when it starts you select use IOSxx + AHBPROT. Then, make sure you are installing IOS 36 v1042 and not any other revision.

If this does not work or it is exactly what you already did, I don't have enough information to provide further advise. The error message you received, "Note: FakeSign, ES_Identify, Nand Permissions Already Exists.", makes no sense since it is not true of any of your IOSes. Any more information you can provide would be useful.
