I haven't really had any time to do any designs lately, but I am getting a new laptop which will give me a ton more time so expect to see some more productivity from me.

Yes that would be pretty easy to do code wise. I want to get a working version first though :)

I wonder, if those trees and hills could be exported as separate files (like pngs with transparency), it would be a neat little trick to have them scroll by at different speeds, giving a greater illusion of depth. But that comes down to the game engine, really. So pay me no mind.

Yeah I'll be able to make more either tomorrow or Tuesday. I'll look at some of the backrounds in the game and try to mimic them.

EDIT: I've been a bit busier than I intended so new backgrounds will be later in the week

Sure, I guess we need blocks and characters for the game. The blocks can be various sizes but roughly a medium sized one right now is 12px by 75px. If you create any triangular shapes like roofs make sure they are a square image i.e. 50x50px, this just helps make the physics a little easier for me.

IMO, that looks pretty good. I'm not sure if its what scanff would want, but I think it would work great!
