I've read about some efforts to get an IRC client for the Wii. There are several for the DS already, and Wii homebrew has been around for a few years now. - Connecting to specified in source server works
- Setting username works (in source)
- Setting nick works (same)
- Joining channel works (same)
- Getting messages from users as they talk (partially, it reads like every third or fifth message, oh well)
