porting openKinect to Wii

Hello brewers,

I was wondering if it is possible to port openKinect library to wii ? It would open home brew to a whole new set of games.
Do homebrew apps have access to the USB ports that are available on the console?

best,

We already have motion sensing etc. and for the really cool hacks Kinect has got, you need a computer to process that stuff, Wii wouldn't be powerful enough. I don't really see the point of supporting Kinect on Wii, other than the "look its Kinect on a Wii" factor.
