It won&#039;t do your normal wii stuff. It&#039;s not like you are upgrading your Wii OS and replacing it with something else.]]></description>

It can&#039;t run Windows or Mac applications, but nonetheless has many applications which you can use.]]></description>

If you want to play Wii games and VC/WW channels etc., then no, because it can&#039;t do those things. If you want to run a wealth of applications, such as word processors, internet browsers, media players, development tools, etc. etc., then yeah. But only applications like that developed for Linux. (Windows programs will NOT work).]]></description>

It will not affect the Wii Menu. But if you don&#039;t know what Linux is, it will probably be a desktop you are not familiar with. I reccommend downloading an Ubuntu Live CD and running it on your computer to familiarize yourself with it.
