outside the box idea from a noob So apparently the joke is that the u in wii u stands for "unsoftmoddable", but here's something I just thought of: The giant tablet/controller that comes with it. In theory, you could sync it to a computer, and create a pseudo-emulator that works between the computer and the tablet, so that it thinks it's connecting to a wii, and then send any backup game data directly from your computer to the controller.
