Using git?

Hello,
from my understanding all that is needed to give current homebrew apps SDHC support (and compatible ELFs),is to recompile with the latest git from hackmii.
I got git, cloned the hackmii repo, but Im unsure how to compile and replace it with the devkitpro libogc
Ive been using the git gui.

just run make and make install.

Would you please provide a link to the git. I would like to add SDHC support to my apps.
