Regarding libogc, this fabulous library...

Hello all,

First, sorry for my poor english. It's not my native language.

I played with this library, it was very fun.
I wonder how we create such a library.
Is that a IOS reversing, a game reversing, the system menu reversing ?
Where did you find all these functions and these features ?

Regards,

Some where imported from existing free source software, but some where cloned of the Nintendo API, with the source of the function names being found from left over symbol files and preexisting knowledge (yup, we did get one or two licensed developers) and the rest was custom named following the existing patterns. And some where plain custom made for Wii development.

No licensed developers have ever leaked anything to contribute to libogc as far as I know.

The stuff I did I wrote from scratch, looking at IOS and the system menu to learn how to interface with the hardware or IOS. I can't vouch for the origin of the code that was there before I came or the stuff written by others. Things like lwbt are open source projects imported into libogc.

I never said leaked. That implies intent. But it is hard to unlearn designs of things, even if you are doing a clean independent implementation.
