Mac OS X DevKitPPC: Error 2
January 07, 2009 12:59AM
I go to even compile the hello world example and I get the following:

main.c
make[1]: execvp: powerpc-gekko-gcc: Bad CPU type in executable
make[1]: *** [main.o] Error 127
make: *** [build] Error 2

Am I doing something wrong?

The last realease of the devkitpro, even it appears as "universal intel/ppc" in sf it's only for intel CPU's. But sure that can be built using buildscripts.

I use a mac ppc for working too so right now I'm doing the compilation o another machine and with a simple script I scp the .dol and load it intro de hbc.

Ahh crap. Well I have the folder from forever ago's version. Is it possible to get the files I need out of it but still keep dependencies in?

UPDATE: I did some digging and I found this: [sourceforge.net]

It is the installer package from May 15. I have no clue what it has in it but is does in fact say universal. Worth a shot anyways. Any other help would be good.
