GC Homebrew Launcher

I am to understand that as of 0.2 the GC Homebrew Loader can load a GC dol file from the front SD Slot. I was just wondering if it works on a USA wii. If so, would I just use the normal RVL-mios.wad.out.wad file or would I use the one found in the USA-NTSC version of Super Mario Galaxy? Will homebrew be able to support the disc drive? Heres an example:

I haven't heard of much testing going on for this as it's pretty new but could someone answer my questions? Yes I know I've posted this in the help section already but I'd like someone to test it so it fits in this forum too.

GC Homebrew launched through this method on a wii without modchip will not support the disc drive for anything else then original gamecube discs.
