Mega Merged smash_legends psp hacking topics

Since smash_legend has a large number of psp topics all revolving around the same ideas, I've taken the liberty of merging them (in order) all into one topic.

I`m trying to get gpSP, DaedalusR14 and snes9xTYL
but they all say there corrupted

dose anyone have 1 that is redy to go and I can just copy to the PSP game folder (and all I have to do is add the roms (and save files)

It's not that hard to use google
What CFW do you have?
and about the corruption, try putting them in the GAME150 folder or GAME5XX(if on 5.00M33) instead of just GAME

you should have /PSP/GAME150 or /PSP/GAME5XX (if youre on 5.00M33) and you put the emulators in one of these folders

YAH UMM i DON`T HAVE ANY M33
(It keeps telling me I don`t need to update cuz my PSP is already a v 5.02

you know you need a CUSTOM FIRMWARE for emulators?

well... can somone tell me how I get that on my psp
(those CUSTOM FIRMWARE stuff keeps telling me it`s corrupted too)

well, you'd need a 'pandora battery' and 'magic memory stick' to downgrade and then upgrade to a custom firmware. It's a bit complicated though.

...that wouldn`t happen to be COMPUTER FILES would it...

a 'pandora battery' is a modified battery that lets you put your psp into 'recovery mode' from this mode you can downgrade your psp and install a Custom Firmware. You need a 'magic memory stick' with special files needed for the downgrading process

or is it hardware I have to buy

you buy or make the battery and you can download the things needed for a 'magic memory stick' although its not entirely 'legal' to do so because of some copyrighted sony stuff
If you really have to ask all of this stuff, you really shouldn't try it.

...so is it possable to just wait for a, lyk, IDK, 5.03M33???

I'm not sure if updating from an original FW to a custom FW would work...
and the CFW corresponds to Sony FW so if there's no 5.03 there won't be a 5.03M33. Right now the highest CFW is 5.00M33

No you can get it for like $10 online

Why would a new PSP help? you just need to get a CFW to use emulators and homebrew
