I have been trying to download the wii speak channel but it keeps saying error 202011 well downloading. I have the wii speak microphone plugged in and I have download other titles and they worked fine. Has this happened before ? and how do I fix it?

Wii Shop Channel
There are appears to be a temporary problem with the Wii Shop Channel.

-The Wii Shop Channel may be temporarily down (this could include scheduled maintenance). Please wait a few hours and retry the connection again.

-Try adjusting the "Channel" your wireless router broadcasts on. We highly recommend setting your wireless router to either channel 1 or 11. This can potentially increase the download speed. For information on accessing your router's settings, click here to select the brand name and model number of your router (if available).

-If possible, move the router closer to the Wii console and try the connection again.
If you have waited several hours but are still receiving this error code when connecting to the Wii Shop Channel, please call 1-800-255-3700 so that we may assist you further.

Maybe this is the problem?

is the Wii speak channel free from the Shop Channel?

I waited a day and I downloaded another title to see if it was the entire shop and it downloaded fine. Could this be caused by the homebrew channel?

I dont know if I should call nintendo or not scincce I have homebrew...

Its not the homebrew channel. Just keep trying to download the wii speak channel. You'll grab it eventually. Chances are, the server hosting it is just having technical issues or something. It'll work eventually.

hmmm... I tried to get onto the shop channel today to check on this and I got the same error number just trying to boot up the shop channel. it said to either cancel or try again... so I re attempted getting on and it was fine! I couldn't ever find the wii speak channel though...

You need a download code, it's not in the channels section.

There seems to be problems with lots of the online data owned by nintendo. Club Nintendo is having system maintenance, and I cant get online in Animal Crossing along with the wii speak channel problem. Is anyone else having a problem with any of these things?
