Sorry, I don't know anything about how AC Toolkit works....But I can help you with Gecko OS:

Download the latest version of Gecko OS. [files.me.com]
Download the latest version of Code Manager. [wiibrew.org]
Download the latest version of Mega Code Downloader. [wiibrew.org]

Using Mega Code Downloader, download the TXT file for the game that you want to cheat on.
Using Cheat Manager, load the downloaded TXT file, and press "+" on the codes that you want to apply. Once you're done, press "1".
Using Gecko OS, launch the game. It should locate the cheats.

Good luck. :)

Edit: Oh, BTW, ripping out hair is a bad habit. ;)

I use AC Toolkit pretty often so I think I can help!

1. Install Savegame Extractor and Savegame Installer.
Savegame Manager will only work if you have a cIOS installed.

2. Run Savegame Extractor and follow the onscreen instructions.

3. Remove the SD Card from your Wii when extraction is complete, and insert it to your computer.

The ACCF Gamesave should be in a directory like this....
Computer/RemovableDisk/wiisaves/RUUE

4. Copy the RUUE folder somewhere to your computer, for easy access copy it to the same folder AC Toolkit is located in.

5. MAKE A BACKUP OF THE RUUE FOLDER!
Rename it Original Town or Town Backup for easy identification.

6. Run AC Toolkit, open the RVFOREST data located in the RUUE folder.

7. Edit your town and save the RV Forest data.

8. Copy the RVFOREST data of your new town and paste it to the RUUE folder on your SD card.
(computer/removabledisk/wiisaves/RUUE)
If it ask if you want to replace the old RVFOREST data click YES.

9. Move the SD card back to your Wii.

10. Delete your old ACCF savegame data from the Wii.

11. Run Savegame Installer and follow the onscreen instructions

12. Boot ACCF and enjoy your new town! ^_^

This process can be used to restore your original town data too, in case you mess up your town or something.

I hope this help you with your AC Toolkit problems! :D

Get the installer and extractor as seperate apps. it works wothout cIOS.
And you dont have to delete your old savegame.

I didn't know it just overwrote your old savegame when you used Installer.

xD

My bad....

here is a better set of instructions (less confusing):

Download the savegame installer and savegame extrector.
put animal crossing in and copy the data.
move the sd card to your computer and copy the RUUE filder inside of WIISAVES to a safe place.
run actoolkit and edit your town.
Make sure to press apply before you exit out of editing the town, shop, or pockets.
Then click file and save.
once that is finnished put the sd back into your wii.
run the savegame installer. it will overwrite your old save, so there is no need to delete it.
run the game through gecko os if you have txt codes and enjoy!

Two extra points:
I do not advise editing the pockets. It will freeze your game.
Make sure you keep extracting the save from time to time. The RUUE folder on the sd will not update itself and you will erase some data if you dont keep extracting when you do something important!
