Sudden Disc Update

For some reason today, both my Animal Crossing and Metroid Prime Trilogy discs are wanting me to update. Do you know what could be causing this? The only major mod I have done recently was installing (and removing) Priiloader.

You probably had Priiloader blocking disc updates, a feature that stopped working after you removed it.

Actually, I didn't apply any patches at all. Although I DID previously apply patches using Startpatch. (Not "remove disk update check") I also forgot to mention I am on System Menu 4.1.

I believe installing Priiloader may have undone the startpatch patches. Reapply them with startpatch.

The patches weren't removed; I can move the disc channel. :) The thing is, I don't NEED A disk update. I'm on 4.1, remember? AFAIK, Animal Crossing and Metroid Prime Trilogy don't carry any update higher than 4.0.

Well then, somehow something got either downgraded or removed. I think it would be fine to just run the update since you are already on 4.1

Another oddity: I just patched it to remove the disk update check, and it still wants me to update. I'll just use Gecko OS to run those games.

Well like I said, it should be fine to just run the update seeing as you are already on 4.1

You must have deleted or downgraded some IOS and it wants to fix them. although the patch should have stopped it.
