ipod touch hacking sites

I was wondering what were the sites for ipod touch hacking similar to the wii ones.

Like what is the ipod version of Wiibrew.org

also, how far along are they? do they have homebrew apps and games too?

I think the IPod Touch uses the same SDK as the IPhone. Therefore there's no hacking involved as Apple is smart enough to support homebrew developers. Here's a link to Apple's Developer page - [developer.apple.com]

They probably fixed the bug in iPhone OS 2.0.

It only cost like $99 to be a legit developer. Why bother hacking. Apple gives you full access to the hardware and lets you use OpenGL ES.

yeah, but to a college student it isnt "only $99" it's "Shit, 100 bucks!"

also, I dont really want to dev, just play some of the stuff...apparently, they have a full speed GBA emulator homebrew!

I have found a few! there is one called QuickFreedom! it works on the new FW too...

hmm..I'm not sure...from what i've read, most of the apps seem to be ones rejected by apple's app store.

After all the cool stuff, though, I am thinking about getting an iphone! I just need to find a friend with AT&T to buy it through. only 150 refurbished at BestBuy

My little brother got some money for his 16th birthday, so he is going to get an ipod touch, and I am thinking about getting the phone...
