Wii fan not spinning

First of all, I'm not sure where to put this...

Anyways, ever since I got the HBC, my Wii's fan stopped working. Is this supposed to happen? 'Cause it smells like cigarettes. If you can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know anything techy, except that playing the Wii is smelly/fun. o-o

It sounds like a hardware issue. The HBC cannot cause the fan to stop working.

People often think the noise of the disc drive spinning is a fan and get worried when they can't hear it.

It just cant be hombrew. Its hardware.
