Thats why I'm looking for an e-mail address IM account... I don't have the technology or know-how to make a phone recording.

(I'm also wary of calling toll free numbers since I always to seem to get my phone number listed on a bunch of spam places afterward...)

Arikado, I've called him just now but he was not available at the moment... Why don't you just call the number I provided and then simply leave your name, phone number and a brief message on his answering machine so that he could call you back, hopefully by tomorrow?

If you have windows then you could just use sound recorder and use hyper-termal to listen in on the Phone line, its what I use.

WaxyPumpkin yes I was banned, I was on a world wide race on Mario Kart, NOT CHEATING I do repeat NOT CHEATING and I have never cheated online on the wii that was banned, I have however cheated online one time about a month ago for say 3 races on our OTHER wii just to see how it all worked exactly.

I did use the save game extractor to move my licenses over to the other wii but I never used the license I previously cheated on with the 2nd wii, only a normal license that I use quite regularly (I am in one of those nerdy mario kart clans you see so I wouldn't dare cheat lest I piss off my team mates and make us look like assholes lol)

I agree with those saying this thread is bullshit, this whole thing is bullshit if you ask me... please do call this Ryan and press him on the subject like I have and see what he tells you. I am curious to see what he says to someone who isn't even banned that is just calling to ask questions about homebrew unrelated to any game.

I still think this is a rom issue, the fact that you can run your backups scares them with wiiware... but seriously I only play about 4 roms and they're games I own HARD COPIES OF so wtf ever. Law is on my side there.

Did you happen to have any cheats applied, that you might not have known about? Like some sort of code that didn't apply to wifi gameplay?

But because you used the same savegame, you have used the same Wi-Fi-ID

Yeah I don't think it matters what license you use, only the savefile and Wii.

So the current bottom line of the thread is:
Rylan did indeed cheat

So... He used a cheated savefile. Right?

Yeah, you cheated, you were banned, it had nothing to do with the Homebrew Channel.
