Out of curiosity, do you own one? I don't.

I bought a Wii hacking/dev/debug device, of all things, on impulse... and to think... I used to be so... non-geeky :(

While we are on the topic... Nuke has recently relaunched USBgecko.com

Oooh, it looks fancier now!! I go there sometimes. :)

Edit: In answer to your question, I don't have a USBGecko....

Hmmm, I don't have a USB Gecko either.

You have to be smart to know how to use one lol!! I think I'd be too lazy to take the time to learn (how to use that). :P

Erm, I actually wasn't. :P

I don't have one. I'd lurv to have one. I'd also love being able to keep my mouth shut. But why would I have one if I don't know a scrap of code? =p

Hmmm, trying to bring some sanity to the topic now =P

I'm not a expert on all this stuff, but for debugging purposes on homebrew, you can use some basic debug code on your program. But for hacking purposes... I mean, if you want to get some output from a Wii game, or want to dump some mem, you can use USB Gecko...

But what about some kind of "debugging IOS"? I mean, with all things that have been done with IOSes, maybe is possible (just maybe) to create a way to dump info from mem using a special driver in IOS, together with plain USB 2.0 support, so you just plug a cable between your Wii and your computer, start a client at your PC, run a game or channel using that IOS, and, well, go hacking...
