General C++ Tutorial

I could write one if people really wanted it.

I think some people will like it, and it will get more people starting faster with wiidev...

:'(... I have no clue what is going on...I downloaded the devkit stuff...and the only thing I know how to actually "run" is PN...how do I get the devkitPPC stuff to run...there is just alot of files I don't know how to run :$

Dykam wants a tutorial for the sprite lib and LOLDSFAN wants one for just learning how to get set up and running, what do you want?!

Well I already have Alex's tutorial...so I don't think I need another one yet...I just have questions and all ^_^

Well, I would definitly use the libwiisprite tutorial, cause I'm pretty much all good with the C++ part, now I just need to do the graphics and stuff... Also, I can make a devkitPro for Dummies tutorial (NOT saying you are a dummy, it's just a Layman's terms tutorial) if you wanted it... Just need to know what platform you are on...

Ohk where do you want me to post them, I will to a few.

You can put it in the wiki... at like wiibrew.org/wiki/libwiisprite/tutorial/ and they may move it... I would definitly use it...

If by platform you mean OS then Windows :).

Windows to... but i've a live cd of Ubuntu.

Ohk, I'm up to page 28 so far of the tutorial, just bear with me a little longer, I'll release some of the lessons and continue with more tomorow hopefully.

28 pages! Nice tut are you writing.

It's fairly noob stuff, but wait for the next release of Libwiisprite, theres a bunch of awsome!!! features in it.

You're making me suspicious... can't wait.

Haha, I'll add the libwiisprite tutorials I've done to a thread here (pdf) then once I'm done with all of them I'll post them on the wiki and let the admin take care of the rest.

Edit: I've done the first few lessons,I've uploaded to a temporary server (send space) I'll leave it up until I've finished. this is version 0.1a. Its still being edited and moderated, so there may be some errors in it, if you find any email me at phlex.wii@gmail.com

I'll like to program C# for the wii. But... the wii doesn't have a framework... as .net and mono, and I can't find any results for compiling and building C#.

ugh i hate c sharp, im going to go through a couple of c++, and c tuts, and ill post important info on the wiki, and use all the info, to hopefully, allow you to learn faster.
