Something I'd like to point out..

If you have used Dop-IOS to patch all your IOSs, the HackMii Installer will give you the "no vulnerable IOS found, can not install" message. You can get around this buy using Dop-IOS to install IOS34 but don't patch the sign bug into it. (You can re-patch it after installation)

Doesn't HackMii installer (also) uses the trucha bug? Since the only thing Dop-IOS does is patch the bug fix, why the incompatibility?

The new exploit doesn't use trucha and it can't be fixed by nintendo as it would require to re-make every IOS and the way that IOS's work. Pure genius :)

That's a bit stupid really...does it have to be IOS 34 that is unpatched? Or can you just leave any IOS unpatched?

Probably any IOS, but it used IOS34 when I installed bootmii the first time, so I figured I'd use it again.

Still, kinda odd it wont use trucha bugged IOS. Is it because pirates usually have trucha bugged IOS or something?

My theory:

1. The new exploit they are using has sometihng to do with the trucha bug fix
2. The new exploit is safer than original trucha method
3. They choose to not use the trucha approach anymore, and now the installer ignores bugged IOS, because if it picked such IOSes and use the new method, probably something would be fucked up.

Twizzers said they won't be bothering with anti-piracy measures... They just avoid to contribute to it.
