Well, if you feel the need to store all your DVDs on an SD card then buy an SDXC card. :-)

Yeah, but SDXC could easily do 256GB. And tbh, 32GB would NOT be enough for all my DVDs, along with my brothers' as well. I think it'd be awesome to just have all my DVDs and all my brothers' DVDs on a small SD card, then I can take it orund a friend's house (provided they have a Wii) with bannerbomb setup to run MPlayer CE, and just stick in my SD card and watch all my movies. In DVD quality.
That would be pretty fun.

Im sure that once SDXC is out that it could be easily implemented into Mplayer CE. I have a lot of DVDs and 32GB wouldnt cut it for me.... but I'm sure it will cost quite a heavy penny.

wow didnt know this topic would have so many replies in one day im impressed.
about sdxc, i would buy one but they would be expensive and iwould use them for dvd's
i wouldnt have backups cause the only way afaik to get them is by torrents and they're way to slow
so i dont like them

Not to mention that downloading a "backup" though torrents is illegal as well...

It's faster it think (i dont know as i have almost never used torrents)

because a server-based (S2P as I call it) network would be too expensive and too easy to shut down.

distributing ISOs is the illegal part, not the torrents. And torrents are one of the fastest ways to download files afaik.
But you can also rip your own backups. But we're talking backups/piracy again, not good.
