I know about the great, easy to use, image libraries for the wii, like libwiisprite. But What should I use when I develope for windows, or linux. What is an easy to use library for windows or linux.

SDL_Image and it also works on Wii :)

libpng

ALLEGRO (but this is a game programming library like libwiisprite)
