SSBB save game transfer

My SSBB disc is all scratched up-I'm unable to play it-and I have logged in like 50 hours and have all the characters. Is there anyway for me to transfer the save onto a new disc of Super Smash Bros. Brawl?

The save stays on the Wii/SD: Get another copy and play your save again.

So even though I get a new disc my saves and everything stays there? Without any homebrew apps?

That's right. The save is stored on the Wii, not the disc. This is much easier for Nintendo, as then they dont have to include a DVD burner in the Wii, just a reader.
