Is there a working gamecude emulator for the Wii Homebrew Channel?

No. And I'm pretty sure its against the rules to even ask for (since its been asked for many times before).

Just play your gamecube games on the Wii, it can play them natively. If you are looking for advanced features like save states or whatever, sorry, it can't happen.

Save states are very much possible, with a lot of work.

I also thought of being able to return to the Wii Menu, which is also possible (through a hook).

Both of these would require a complete rewrite of MIOS, and nobody would do them.

Bottom line is: No. And if you can't accept it, then build one yourself and prove the world wrong.
