wiimotes--how to sysnc them when u cant get to wii menu

Anyone know how or where I can get my wiimotes sync'd. I can not get to the wii menu but I can load homebrew apps but then when i try and run wad installer my plug in control stops working.

Hold the red button in your wiimote's battery pack and the red button on the wii's SD slot for 15 seconds.
Oh, and WAD manager isn't supported here.

that does not work...I have tried to reset/resync at all menu and booting processes and no luck

If you can't get to the system menu then you can't sync new remotes
