uh... You can't run the homebrew launcher without the twilight hack. And homebrew launcher is old and hasn't made any progress. You probably found a site with old information.

For a guy named homebrewking, you're pretty behind the times.

Use wiibrew for your information.

And yes, no matter which way you load homebrew you're initially going to have to use the twilight hack.

No. I never used the twilight hack on my system.
I used the Homebrew Channel installer disc.
