Everyone who uses homebrew/region free loader doesnt want updates from games so why doesnt someone create something to emulate wii firmwares?
this way you could trick the game into thinking you already have the latest firmware so you cant get the update
also it would make semi/full bricks from out of region games impossible
could someone tell me if this would be possible? also tell me what you think

Huhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Gecko OS already bypass this problem. You need to understand, however, some games actually needs this updates, like Animal Crossing, for example.

is there a partial update out for the Wiispeak for Animal Crossing?

I remember reading you get some sort of code that you can enter into the shop channel to get WiiSpeak. I might have read that wrong tho.

I would imagine that being theoretically possible, but it would require ripping the update WAD from the disk. Go to GBATemp with that.
