update the Wii

Hello,

I got a Nintendo Wii with 4.0e Firmware. It was completely new.

I Have the Homebrew Channel and a Back-up Loader installed on it after the update to 4.0e.

Everything works fine but I have one problem. I made a few back-up games and with three of them (Marioparty 8, Mario Power Tennis, Punch Out and Wii Music) my Wii asks for a software update in the Wii Disc Channel. Is it safe to update the software in the Disc Channel (I play them via Back-up Loader). My Wii warns that some games or apps won't work after I run that update...

So what shall I do ?

Anyway: Wiibrew does not recommend to update your Wii through Nintendo.
Run your games through Gecko OS, it can ignore the updates
