installing stuff on 4.2U (mostly WAD manager)

so i got my wii a few months ago. i immediately installed the homberew channel and WiiFlow to play my backups. i also have the Drive2key chip installed, the newer one (it came with it).

now id like to customize my Wii Channels, and instal WADS. i keep hearing its dangerous to do with the 4.2U formware. its been so long i cant remember what i did already. i know that when i tried at the time, i couldnt install the Wad Manager, and i didnt have time to do it then. now...i dont know what to do!

can i get some tips from anyone? is there a CIOS i have to install?
