I need to download the netflix icon from the wii store but to do that i need to update. if i do that will it brick my wii? im on 3.2U

No, but the homebrew channel may be uninstalled unless you have the latest homebrew channel version.

Just update the wiishop channel and the ios 56 with dop-mii wiibrew edition. Then you should be able to dl Netflix from the shop channel without updating.
If you do update, be sure you have the newest HBC installed first.

I installed the newest version of hbc, then updated to 4.3. It wasnt removed like promised. However, some of my hb programs aren't running. My usb loader gx is asking for a certain cios. Recommendations? Thank you very much.

Um don't be a pirate maybe. We don't support usb loaders.
