Re: Can I update my Wii without doing it through nintendo for 4.3U?

my wii is softmoded 4.2u, works great, but like to upgrade to 4.3u, to use channels and stuff.
what are my risk? i hate to lose all my hard work and games. i use external hd usb to play and store
all my iso game file. should i use wii online updater?
