I have heard that but not witnessed it, if your worried about losing your game saves back them up on your sd and transfer them to your computer, it doesn't seem logical, but it does seem possible.

No that doesn't happen

ios restricts the game to 1 save file (the games). it is impossible for it to have malicious code in it without it being incredibly long, and most codes only affect in-game memory used, not anything else.in other words, use absolutly any code you like, but back up your saves
