how do you play wii64?

i go to load rom, load from SD card, select a game, it loads, i go to the play game option, press the A button(on my classic con), and it goes to the load game option at the top. so how do i play a game on this?
i also download the "Wii64 "Wii Tiizer Edition" for Wii." if that makes a dif.

Wii64 is the suckiest thing I've ever seen in my life. You're wasting your time trying to get that version to run. Try getting an unnofficial build from the Wii64 thread. These have made much more progress, but they're still not as good. They can, however, play Mario 64 at a tolerable speed.

Haha, fail. Strongfan, the version of Wii64 that comes with the Homebrew Channel was an early version of the same thing as the builds that people are posting. It's the same group (including emukidid, lol) and they've made a lot more progress now, so I don't see why you're calling it the suckiest thing you've ever seen in your life and then saying the "unofficial" build is a lot better. The team isn't releasing official binaries because they have their reasons, and I don't understand your sense of entitlement of getting an N64 emulator on your Wii for free. If it's so sucky, why don't you go code one yourself, or just use a PC emulator, or even find a used N64, those will be much easier than waiting for and whining about Wii64.

thanks, but now when i load a game, and click on the play game, the screen turns black and says:
