how do you get smw hacks to work on Snexgx

i legitly bought the game online so i can the rom how would i get super mario world hacks to work on the wii the hacks are .lps

it also says i need a clean rom what does it mean by that btw

You need to patch the ROM. The ips is a patch file.

i did that but it did not work using lunar ips program

Try another program like IPSWin.

A clean ROM is just that; a clean ROM. (Not modified)
How is it not working?

Do you have the rom on your computer or the Wii? You cannot do it on the Wii, you have to patch it on your computer then load it with HB Snes emulator.

i figured it out the problem was my rom was not clean i found out at smw central and got a new one and work thanks everybody for the help
