SNES9X GX Two-Player

Does two-player work with SNES9X GX? Whenever I try to, the other remotes just flash their player lights forever. The pause menu shows all four remotes, though only one is ever filled in with battery life.

What am I doing wrong?

Make sure that all Wii remotes have been synced to your Wii with the red button located on the back of the Wii remote (under the battery cover) and the red button by the SD slot on the console itself.

I've tried that. All my remotes are synced. Or do I need to do it each time I load the emulator?

What kind of remotes are they? Newer remotes (with motion plus built in) might not work with older versions of the emulator. I'm not entirely sure about this but perhaps looking for a more recent version of the emulator would work?

Also, try clearing all syncs from the Wii and resyncing (hold the red button for 15 seconds)

I downloaded the version from Wiibrew.org a few months ago, but I don't remember the version. :P Was it updated recently?
