genesis plus gx help

I've been trying to download the emulator through homebrew browser to my sd card (5gb, if that matters) but upon download the app still wont appear in the list of apps in the HBC. I've tried manually downloading from my pc to install into my sd and nothing, it just wont appear on the HBC. I have successfully installed vga gx, snes9x gx, and fce ultra gx, i dont understand why this emulator isn't recognized. Please help!

Please, explain the steps you took while trying to install it with your pc.

When you did a manual install did you make sure that the boot.dol file wound up in the /apps/genplusgx folder on the sd card after extracting it?

I dont know why but every time I download a copy of this emulator the xml file doesnt work. It just says no description.
