MyMenuify Won't Work

I know this has been asked before,and I've tried many different things (downgrading wii menu with dop-mii, reinstalling different versions of mymenuify, etc.) But whenever I start mymenuify from the HBC, I get nothing but a black screen, the wiimote won't connect, and the whole console freezes. Anyone know how to fix it?

dunno what ios mymenuify uses but you are probably missing it. quite possibly ios249.

Does that usually cause the console to freeze up? Is there a program I could use to reinstall that IOS?

if you're on 4.2, you'll need to run dop-Mii first. Choose to install an IOS that accepts fake-signatures. Then, if you are given the option (which I think you are), delete stubs. Then run the PatchMii cIOS Installer. You can find both tools on WiiBrew wiki.

Well, I tried all of that, and apparently something worked. It was probably the IOS 249 stub. Thanks!
