Check out my website for all my latest projects for the Linux on the Wii.

Anybody know if there is a gui for Linux on the Wii yet?

I would like to install Debian Linux on my Wii. However when I downloaded and unziped it, I see LOTS of directories and LOTS of files. Could you please tell me which one to put in the "apps" directory for booting by Homebrew Channel, and which ones to put in the root directory of my SD card?

There are special instructions to do this but honestly right now I don't its worth the effort it takes to install it for the function that it gives which right now is little.

you cant install it like other homebrew apps atm it requires you to partition your sd card and install it a a different way. you will also need to have a computer running linux to get it working

I think that being able to play pacman with the wiimote is worth it.
Also if you have a usb-ethernet cable then you can install a gui and links.
