My SD card got corrupt

I was renaming a file with my SD reader and it suddenly said, DISK IS NOT READY. I tried to format it but... when it gets to the end it just says It was not able to format. Can I fix this?

This happened to me once when I pulled it out to fast. I just put it back in and Windows Vista fixed it for me. And in the future, would you please post topics like these into homebrew help and questions?

In that case, you're screwed. Heck! You're screwed even if you get Vista(because vista sucks)! Try looking for an SD card fixer.

That happened to me. I was able to format the card to FAT32 then back to FAT. But it only messed up because I was converting a video I had on it.

Erm... A program that fixes SD cards? Like the guy above you said, any program that formats the SD card would probably do.

He something you can try,google sd card formatter, sorry i lost the exact link but its a sandisk official website and you download it convert to fat 32 and back to fat 16 or vise versa... hope this helps alittle
