VisualBoy Advance/Snes9x GX boots up a black screen

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the issue, but I believe this started happening after installing BootMii.

I can see the emulators on HBC, update them through HBBrowser, but when I try booting them up I just get a black screen. Anyone having a similar issue? I've tried searching but came up with nothing

Manually inst al the latest versions of the emulators. (That means dont use the HBB)

Just tried it with the latest version, still no go. Do these emulators depend on any specific IOS? Installing/Upgrading said IOS(es) could solve the problem, wouldn't it?

Try deleting the settings files for the emulators. I've found that I frequently get a black screen with a new version because it can't handle the previous version's settings file. Of course, a single hard reset solves the problem for me, so you might be in a different situation.
